What's the story?
Three Duck Studio designs are imagined and handcrafted in Maryland by Renee Pilarski, a 20+ year veteran of the luxury home furnishings industry.
The textiles and leathers used are remnants from the upholstery production process and come from the most renowned mills and tanneries in the world.
Products are all limited editions and are based on material availability. Each product is treated as a work of art rather than mass production. Once a specific design is sold it may never be reproduced in the same manner again. If you see something you like it's best not to hesitate.
Why is 50/50 Feather/Down the only option for Inserts?
The insert matters as much as the cover. Pairing the right insert with your pillows will elevate the overal look of your space. It will read as lux and will give your room a professionally finished look.
Down is sustainable, temperature-regulating, breathable and moldable, making it the ideal fill.
Please note: Your pillows will require routine fluffing and shaping to maintain shape and loft.
What if I want to choose my own inserts?
If 50/50 Feather/Down isn't for you there are no shortage of options on-line to suite your needs. The most important rule is to size your insert 2" larger than the cover you have. (Example: if you order 20"x20" covers then purchase 22"x22" inserts) This will ensure the best all around fullness in the body and corners of the cover.
Care and Maintenance:
-Fluff your pillow regularly to maintain shape and loft.
-Occasionally feathers will poke out of a down insert. This is common and does not indicate a problem or defect. Just gently pull it out and dispose of it.
-Blot spills with a clean cloth immediately. Do not rub or apply cleaning products.
-Do to the custom and varried nature of the materials in Three Duck Studio Pillows this is the best advise for any type of fabric or leather.
